FinegrainCo.
No proposals. No mockups.

We build your site before we ever ask for the job.

Most web shops sell you a pitch deck and a deposit. We build the finished site first — on our time, at our cost — then show you exactly what your business could look like. If you like it, it's yours. If not, we walk away. No hard feelings either way.

A site we built first, pitched second — same as every one below.
How it works

The order is the whole point.

Every other web shop pitches first and builds second. We do it backwards on purpose — it's the only way to actually prove the work before you've spent a dollar.

First

We find the business

Strong reputation, real reviews, a web presence that doesn't match the quality of the work. That gap is what we build into.

Then

We build the whole site

Real photos, real copy, grounded in what the business actually does — not a template with the logo swapped in. Nothing fabricated, nothing generic.

Last

We show you, not a slide deck

You're looking at a working site, not a promise. Take it, change it, or pass — your call, and there's no pressure either way.

Why "Finegrain"

Grain is the thing you can't fake. In wood, it's the actual structure of the material — you can stain over it, but you can't manufacture it. In film, it's the texture that shows up when something was actually developed with care, not just shot and forgotten.

That's the standard we hold every site to. No template grain, no synthetic texture — every site we build is grounded in the real business behind it: its real photos, its real reviews, its real history. If there's nothing real to work with, we say so, instead of making something up to fill the space.

We're not a design agency. We're closer to a workshop — the kind of place that builds the thing first and lets it speak for itself.

Think your business deserves better than its current site?

We're not taking a list of names down for later — if we reach out, it's because we already built something. If you want to talk first, that works too.
